Pros

Working 4 10 hour shifts, working closely with your provider,

Cons

This clinic is going through management changes, and structural changes within the organization. The struggles are lack of management, everyone manages themselves and their peers. Or overkill when management goes on a witch hut to find out information on your coworkers. Constant schedule changes, no consistency besides what your provider offers. Providers constantly expecting you to work out of scope, with management no support to problem solve this issue. This job is very draining, it could be great if their was leadership in the management for the good of the clinic. Very high turnover

Pros

Medical benefits that are sub-par; My work hours.

Cons

Poor leadership. Upper leadership is all leaving the organization. Inability to advance. It's a dog eat dog kind of an environment. There is no team work within Swedish. HR and Payroll are a joke. HR is corrupt; they only work for the upper leadership teams and not for the staff. Favoritism plays a huge part at Swedish; even within HR. Payroll is very unhelpful. Seems that everyone within Swedish is angry to be at work due to the environment. There is nothing that upper leadership provides or does for the staff that encourages a happy work place. Low wages and upper leadership receives raises while at the same time the general workforce is laid off and departments are being closed i.e. Pharmacies.

Pros

Good work/life balance, and great cases, given that it's a Level 1 Trauma Center

Cons

Too many burned-out/grouchy employees, poor management, low pay.
