Pros

Excellent training, Exposure to multiple case types, Firm Culture, Working for the best firm in CA, Events, Case Quality, Case Management tools and structure. Multiple opportunities for promotion and growth from within. Great benefits - they pay $$ towards your Health Insurance. (Who DOES that!?) Good amount of PTO Paid Holidays Catered Food (OFTEN)

Cons

The only con I would say personally is that the firm is not always the most "professional". By that I mean there is interoffice mingling and it clearly leaves a good portion of the firm feeling left out. Obvious favoritism shown. But that is office politics and I feel is the nature of the beast. You can rise above it or sink. I also think it would be nice if the partner(s) would identify everyone when they are performing well and not just the favorites. Sweet James is VERY fast paced. If you are not a fast paced person - then this will overwhelm you. (This is a Pro NOW, but it was a CON at first)

Pros

Monday through Friday 8am-5pm schedule. Decent benefits package. Spacious break room. Fun atmosphere and cool swag. The biggest pro is attorneys treat paralegals, law clerks, and case managers as equals and you are RESPECTED. You can have a casual chat with the managing partners anytime. They are open to anything you have to say, good or bad.

Cons

The firm is quick to hire but also quick to fire. There is high pressure to perform. If you are not keeping up to speed with the caseload and your numbers are low, your days will be numbered working there. The caseloads can be a lot since this is a bigger PI firm than most. Can be loud in the main area of the office. Overall growing pains.
