Pros
The only pro I have for this job is that the pay was decent.
Cons
If you are not a fluent Spanish speaker or have patience to to deal with being instructed under a thick accent, then this might not be the job for you. The supervisors are a little condescending to SOME of the employees and expect you to catch on quickly when there are so many rules to remember about several different planes. This job is fast paced and usually cramped as there are a lot of cleaners assigned to clean one tiny plane, but only a few cleaners cleaning a massive plane. It is definitely a workout. The vans to transport you to and from the planes are usually in cramped and without air conditioning at times. There is no real sense of direction at the start of your shift. You just have to sit outside and wait for a van. I’ve waited almost two hours at one point because I ran a little late to work and none of the vans were in sight. It’s hard to communicate that you are looking for a supervisor so you can be where you are supposed to be because there’s usually no one who cares, they just tell you to go look. When a van finally did come they told me it was too full. I clocked out and went home.
