      Pros

      I truly enjoyed working here as I have been in this field for many years but not for SAAS based company. They don’t have a HR department so if you do have an issue you are brining it to the CEO or director which is not professional. They will also except you to work weekends with no overtime or reward. Your end of year bonus will be less than $50 since it’s not based on performance.

      Remote work force and unlimited PTO option

      Cons

      The leadership team is non-compliant, they operate like a clique opposed to doing the right thing even when their friends don't agree, they don't have the skill set appropriate to oversee their teams, especially the Compliance Officer, who has no compliance experience. Not sure if the CEO is in agreement with the poor leadership or if he doesn't receive accurate reports about how the teams are doing from his direct reports.

      Pros

      Love this company! Excellent company culture, they truly care about their employees and listen when we have issues and work to resolve them. I love working here. Love my management team, love my coworkers, and love our customers. We truly are a team and there is always so much positivity. Even when something goes wrong, our management comes to us from a place of coaching vs discipline and we work together for a solution. We have a great PTO policy and there is a good work-life balance. As a start-up, there are some growing pains, but if you don't mind working through the changes, in a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you! Our growth projections are very exciting and even since I've been here in 03/2023 I've personally seen the growth and it's been amazing to have been a part of it!

      Cons

      Only con for me is the medical insurance. I came from working for Nuance ( a Microsoft company) and having a $500 deductible with an optional $1500 FSA card. So I may be a bit spoiled. Their insurance at Synapse is not BAD but it's not great either. $2500 deductible is steep, especially with no FSA card to assist unless you choose the $5000 deductible plan.
