Good but could be so much better

Pros

Decent pay for Pharma reps. Company car, and they mostly leave you alone.

Cons

Benefits could be better. Way too many systems in place. Millions of passwords to remember. All contracts are different. Feel like you have very few rights as an employee if contract ends.

Pros

a lot of experienced people that you can tap into a link to almost all relevant companies, present in the market space solid offer for clients, when and if it can be delivered

Cons

very high pressure, with some BU working at 150-170% of capacity some inexperienced managers who push people under the bus to achieve results highly political organisation with emphasis placed more on following orders rather than challenging the status quo a lot of people hired from competition, running the risk of little differentiation very high turn over on Account managers and BD, with not a lot of positive feedback from previous employees people working in silos, very hard to engage in cross-business opportunity talks a lot of business risks taken lately only to increase top-line revenue

Pros

Have been here almost two years and never a dull moment! You have ownership over the work you do and one of the few companies that allows you to actually have a great work/life balance! All over Syneos you have highly collaborative people that would go out their way to help each other. There is no back stabbing, in fact everyone helps each other with knowledge sharing sessions and pushing to strive for the highest quality outputs. Not to leave out the perks! Weakly lunch (not just a sandwich but full on meals!). Also free drinks (alcohol and wine included).
