Pros

Health benefits, Tuition Assistance, Service Discount, Good Amount of PTO, great with diversity & inclusion.

Cons

Extremely anti-union, treats employees as expendable, no excused absences, discourages use of PTO, just cut the amount of PTO hours that carry over into the new year in half, unrealistic sales goals and encourages activation of unused lines. Senior managers have also decided that if you have just two days where you are unable to make a sale at the T-Mobile Costco kiosk at literally the LOWEST TRAFFIC Costco in the state, that they will begin writing you up which can lead to termination. Even Mobile Experts who are perennial top performers will struggle to make sales at this kiosk. Senior managers also told employees that if they did not like it, they could transfer to a slower home store which does not partner with a Costco kiosk. Basically told Mobile Experts “deal with it or leave”

Pros

can’t think of any pros, we had a great company culture at sprint and through the merger it just became a really hostile toxic culture. at sprint we were family oriented and we did great work, we had good smart people, there was little pressure of being at office or in person, we just got our work done. that was over with my second manager at t-mobile and introduction of jira.i was targeted for being a remote employee through vaccine exemption and eventually fired for what appears to be performance related. i would’ve liked to say pay was adequate but i was underpaid and my new manager made a case that i didn’t need more when i paid less then my unqualified coworkers with little experience. just an absolute terrible human being what can i say. this after 14 years of being a happy sprint employee never argued with anyone and got along with everyone. i guess stock did well so there’s that positive.

Cons

a lot of my colleagues have described similar experience, with the introduction of jira. despite our group being independent and working well, jira introduced stress and toxic workplace even between co-workers who would snitch on each other. i got called out for a single warning where i didn’t reply to an IM within 5 minutes and literally got fired over it. the manager they brought on was completely unqualified scaredy cat n95 freak. not technical nor a people person, targeted me and others for no reason, other coworkers have described similar encounters across the company. it was meant to cut some of the extras since the two companies merged. absolutely despised the treatment.
