Pros

- MY supervisor cares. He/she is concerned about me as a person, not just as a pack mule to get work done and to make the company money. - Decent discounts on phones, tablets, and accessories.

Cons

- 90% of those in a manager or higher role (at Corp) don't care about you as a person. They care about $$$$ and that's it. "Oh you are sick with a 102 temp and throwing up? You'll still be able to get that report done right?" - Moorehead COMMUNICATIONS can not communicate. Its horrible. No one is on the same page, and when they are you have 20 people trying to do the exact same thing. - Very low pay. I make $10,000 less a year than the average pay for my position. That's pretty common across the board, until you get up to the higher ranks. - Sketchy accounting practice. - Way too much work, not enough employees. - The Carmel office...this is the big one. From day one the people in Marion were told "You can stay in Marion, Carmel is optional" All that has changed. Many of us have been forced to work in the Carmel office and before long you will have nothing but Dish and the Warehouse in Marion. I cant even begin to tell you what a huge hit that has been to morale. People are miserable here. People in the Marion area have a 1.5 hour drive time one way!! That's ridiculous! Add that to the low pay and its downright insulting. - Company president has been MIA since January.

Pros

This is a great company with exceptional top level management. The company is partnered with major telecom organizations and growing in leaps and bounds. The franchise opportunities are also a plus for entrepreneurial minds.

Cons

From the regional levels on down, the company seems to operate like a Mom & Pop shop, with thin staffing, poor training, and unreasonable goals. The focus becomes more about numbers and $$$, less about quality of service, staff, and adequate training.

Pros

If you work at a busy store of live in Indiana where the cost of living is lower then you may be paid a living wage.

Cons

This job is presented to you as if it will be a career, where you will be able to move up within the company given hard work and dedication. You are sent to training for a few days in Marion, In. and then begin life as a sales rep which entails long hours of sitting in a retail location with no security. Pay is very low, even for managers which is about as high up as one can go in this company without moving to Marion, In. Store reps are paid $5 an hour and a low commission percentage and told that by selling certain products they can receive monthly bonuses. Problem is, the goals for the bonuses are set ridiculously high so you cannot hit them. The only people that I saw make money were people that worked in very high volume stores or people who cheated the system and inflated their numbers to make it appear that they were selling more. Many customers treat you very rudely and you are forced to put a smile on your face and accept it. Many managers are lazy and are only there to complete their 40 hours a week and then go home. Training is minimal after your initial training. Benefits are very expensive unless you are single. when all is said and done after two weeks of 85 hours worked helping angry customers, maintaining the store, etc you will see that after taxes your check is 9 or 10 dollars an hour and its not worth any of it.
