Pros
Opportunity to learn how to operate your own business.
Cons
TEEMA acts like an employer, but is not in fact your employer. They require that members are incorporated and demand that all of your company's business flows through them. Is this even legal? There are numerous other points to be made about how inefficient the operations are, the lack of transparency from the board, "hidden job orders", lack of tools and paid services provided to the members, the bloated back office team, the management team's justification for their rake of the business, but it all boils down to it just not being a great place to work and seems sketchy at best overall. There are many great recruiters who work with TEEMA and this review is no way an attack on any of the people who are being taken advantage of.
