Pros

The benefits are almost unbeatable. Great 401k match, decent health insurance plans, and plenty of paid-time-off. The pay is below-market, although some of the benefits can outway this, depending on your situation.

Cons

What is your favorite part about being a programmer? Is it writing code? Management brings in every 3rd party tool they can find so that programmers don't need to write code. Expect to be creating workflows in drag-and-drop style editors, instead of solving fun problems with code. Do you like micro-management, with requirements to fill out daily work logs and timesheets, on top of detailed helpdesk resolution statements? Expect nothing less. Speaking of helpdesk, do you enjoy working tickets about users who forgot their password and can't login to a website? Your day will be full of them. How do you feel about unrealistic timelines set by business leaders, and managers who can't understand why you never get projects done in time? Look forward to this happening with every project! Do you enjoy entering your password and 2FA 30+ times per day, including multiple times per logon session? Well then you'll love the poorly implemented and over-bearing security protocols. Do you like setting career goals with your manager, and making improvements to your skillset in order to progress up the ladder? Too bad, and good luck. You'll likely be stuck in your hired position for 10 years with minimal pay raises.

Pros

Primarily work from home, minimum staff in main office

Cons

Everything else. The org is a disaster and upper management couldn’t care less. Really bad managers

We are sad to hear that you felt this way about the organization and management. Upper management meets weekly with the CEO, who then receives feedback from each department so that the organization’s departments can be assisted in the best way possible. We value our employees and their perception of the organization, however, we know that our managers care about the organization, their respective departments, their employees, and the work that we do that based on the hands-on approach and weekly check-ins with our CEO.
