Pros

Good pay and working from home is nice

Cons

(this is for Teletech@Home) HORRIBLE training!!! They just throw you out there taking live calls. When attempting to get help you have to enter ALL questions into CHAT ... yes, chat! There are like 40+ people in a chat area and you are supposed to post questions to your Team Lead, etc. It's like PULLING TEETH TO GET ANY SORT OF HELP!!! You get ignored b/c people are too focused on their own personal conversations, or there are too many questions at once and yours gets missed, etc. TALK ABOUT FRUSTRATING!!! All assistance is done by chat only and it literally makes you want to pull your hair out... especially when you have a customer waiting for you to help them! Also, there is NO SCRIPTING... you basically have to use the companies internal system (kind of like Google) to literally search for answers while you are on a call. There is SO MUCH info that it's impossible to remember it all. Half of what customers need done was NEVER discussed in training so you are just thrown to the wolves to figure it out on your own. This job is SERIOUSLY NOT WORTH THE STRESS IT CAUSES!!!

Pros

Working from home is the ONLY positive.

Cons

Low pay. No raises. Lack of competent leadership. Lip-service in place of transparency and integrity. Hypocritical & questionable business practices to "save money". They will use you for all that you're worth while demanding that you prove yourself to the company, and once your usefulness has run its course, or if the upper management needs to fund another golf vacation or executive bonus, you are dropped like a bad habit without any notice, compassion, or respect.

Pros

Work from home; Chat (if it was just that).

Cons

This job was suppose to be a chat only position, but they want you to do voice too. They dont care about their employers. They tell so many lies no one can trust anything from management
