Pros

Get to work from home, they provide equipment

Cons

Training does NOT prepare you. Most of my training was with people who weren't very 'computer efficient'. Spent most of training having to go over basic processes (BUT that's only if the correct software/internal sites were working). It was VERY unorganized. Trainers and their SDSs give out incorrect information and then when called out on it later it's just 'yeah okay you're right'. I literally had an SDS tell a (young kind who doesn't know much about healthcare) it was okay to give out PHI to someone who wasn't authorized (WHICH IS AGAINST HIPAA). That wasn't addressed. Also dealt with a TL 'team lead' who didn't seem to know about anything about healthcare and only wanted to do 'brain teasers & share memes' with the group. Never answered anyone's questions (because she didn't know them) and was super unprofessional. Was then thrown on the phones and got a lot of irate customers because we didn't have the answers they needed (were supposed to look up 'desk level procedures' through a remote site that often didn't load or took a long time to do so) and we are supposed to just tell the customer 'I am currently researching this for you' whilst waiting for SOMEONE to hopefully answer the question we have.
