Pros

Competitive base salary, fully covered health insurance; some nice coworkers; executive team is trying hard to deliver and make work environment more palatable

Cons

Tribalism, politics between and within departments; middle management (Sr. Directors, VPs) lack management skills or even basic people skills, and fail to see their roles in the bigger company picture; no work life balance, a lot of work

Pros

Some nice co-workers who want and will do the right thing Small company- lots of exposure to different area Above industry average pay and benefits

Cons

Culture- In general openness or admitting deficiency are not something they embrace, people are afraid to speak their mind; also some disconnect between Japan mother company on how programs should be run Some people are incompetent: its hard for smaller company to attract talents, as a results, a few people they hired are light on the experience or given titles they barely deserve, or have attitude issues Work Life Balance: A LOT OF WORK, they are going through some growing pain, until they hire enough people, everyone is stretched thin
