      Good company but bad culture

      Pros

      Good benefits, good solid medicines, great commercial team

      Cons

      -A lot of petty politics and favoritism in Medical Affairs organization, leading to high turnover in multiple teams, at all levels. Middle management (Sr. Directors, VPs) are very biased on treating who they "like" better than the rest. -5 people quit our team within 6 month - that is losing half of the successful team. -No long term incentives for employees. -Promotions based on favoritism rather than merit. - HR (ironically called "People") does not exist to support people at all levels but to enforce management views and decisions

      Benefits fully paid Stable Small like Start-up but not venture capital Experienced Leadership Nice office space

      Cons

      Not much room for growth Old-School thinking HR dept ones not look out for employees Not much flexibility

      Pros

      Benefits were good but comparable to any other pharma company so not that big of a deal.

      Cons

      -Manager and the physicians like to do their work in long meeting where you will literally be their transcriber rather than working on their contributions and reviews during their own time. -Manager did not provide any training but expected you to know how the company work is done which is very individual to the company. Most companies do not function in the way Taiho does -Overall a horrible experience from someone who has been in the industry for 7+ years and very capable of doing the job but upper management is very biased on treating who they "like" better than rest. -3 people quit my position all within one year, should tell you all you need to know.
