Decent benefits, though nothing out of the ordinary - health, dental, eye, HSA, 401(k); Generous personal/sick time for new employees; Opportunity to telecommute as needed.

Cons

No work/life balance; Severe growing pains; Low salary for long hours ($48k for 60+ hours per week, easily!); Lack of leadership/management training for supervisors; Lots of new employees and no formal training program, so lack of knowledge all around.

I don't work there anymore. Some true friendships to last a lifetime. A great story and brand that has potential

Cons

Fake phony upper management, lots of kool aid drinking to fit in and keep your status.... Forcing people to fit into cult mode to convince themselves and the competition that they are relevant

Pros

Establish long lasting relationship by initiating exceptional experience. Friendly approach and customer service. Talbots merchandising line pleases overall 100% of our customers, based on my experience since I have known the brand for over 40 yrs.

Cons

Low wages, no incentives for growth, no voice mail to receive customers calling for service. For part time schedules a minimum of five hours to work with 15 min. rest only. Compared to larger Dept. stores they give 20 minutes rest.
