Work from home opportunities, especially in IT.

Cons

This is a company that's owned by a private equity firm that has no long-term ownership interest. They purchased it to make it more profitable and then sell it off or take it public again. Decisions are made solely based upon short-term bottom line--not based at all upon the well-being of employees. Good people with decades of experience in Allentown have been replaced by job-hoppers in Texas. The trend is slowly continuing to send more and more jobs to Texas. Management is untrustworthy.

Pros

Talented people. I learned a lot while I was employed there. Able to work without being Micromanaged. Pay "was" good, went down hill.

Cons

This is the WORST organization i have ever worked for. Favoritism at it's best. I was actually encouraged to leave if I didn't like it there. They did nothing to retain their talent. No recognition for employees who do well. Very hard to get promoted. Changes were constant and not always for the good and your opinions were of no value. Volatile work environment, most folks didn't even like each other or talk to each other. Sad to see what has happened there.

good pay, nothing else positive to say about the job. The company is awful to work for since PPL sold it.

Cons

Management, extremely low moral. Nobody cares about the job they do. Everyone has the who cares attitude.
