Pros

The team of salespeople. You build a relationship with these guys that you feel like a family. The talent that is in this place is untapped.

Cons

Owners. There are too many chiefs and no one knows what they are doing. They run the dealership like it is 1970. The owners keep putting the wrong people in the wrong positions and let the talented ones get away. This place will never become what is was if they don’t change the way of doing things.

Pros

Sales manager was a great guy, he should be running the place. He had vision, experience and was professional. He was motivating and recognized, and rewarded, individual efforts. F & I was great, as was service. Really nice people within sales staff. The concept of “You will be satisfied” is commendable and forms the basis of a really good company that has the potential to be a great company. Great training. Learned a lot. With some fine tuning, it would have been a place I could have worked at for years, but for the “cons” below.

Cons

You're weary. You're frustrated. You're unhappy. You're demotivated. Your interaction with your General Manager leaves you cold. He's a bully, intrusive, controlling, picky, condescending, verbally abusive, uses profane language while screaming at you and is petty. He takes credit for your sales, never provides positive feedback and never has time for you. There is no advancement potential, you are treated as though you don’t exist. If you do exist, for that moment in time, it is only to be told of all the things you did wrong and if there are not any, then the big boss finds something else to make a snide remark about. Really should try an anger management class, but that would be on the assumption that the GM cares about his staff, which is false. Demoralizing experience. Went through seven managers in 3 years; lack of stability.

Pros

Owners are great people. The managers, only specifically addressing the sales side of things, who actually run the place are not.

Cons

The job situation is simply intolerable. The workplace culture is just too toxic. Managers engage in unethical or even illegal practices in the workplace. Managers boast how much they are able to rip off a customer or rob them. If you work here you will be affected dramatically, to the point of psychological crisis and/or stress-related illness and a decline in overall health. They treat you as a disposable piece of garbage and your pay reflects that. You will be berated, harassed, abused, put down, taken advantage of, cheated out of your pay, cheated out of bonuses, oh my god, the list goes on and on....They will try to take away your self respect and dignity. Sell 18 cars a month and you still earn less than $30,000 per year. It is a giant Ponzi scheme. Managers are openly hostile, incompetent, and belittling. All have the classic Neapolitan complex, or the small male appendage syndrome. Seriously, don’t work here unless you have absolutely no other choice in your employment horizon. If you do take a job in sales here you not only are making the worst decision of your life, you are selling your soul to work long hours for less than minimum wage, and never once will be told you did a good job. Read the other negative reviews. They say it all. Wish I read them before I started here. If you work here get out while you can!
