Pros

After 4 years I can confidently say TaskRabbit is nothing short of an amazing place to work and I'm very thankful for finding them in 2017. Being new to the tech world I was overwhelmed at first, but the support by many of my earlier managers still exists today and has only improved.

Cons

Like any company transitioning out of a startup to a global leader alongside IKEA, there's always going to be growing pains. They constantly send out company-wide surveys and discuss them openly during all-hands meetings so they can improve. I've been very impressed with their transparency and commitment to the employees and Taskers.

Nice people, pretty good benefits, company is in a really exciting stage and improving. Every one is very collaborative. Doesn’t have the same “evil” feeling as many tech companies and doesn’t bring in elitist talent. Growing quickly and new hires seem to be high caliber

Cons

No equity, lots of tech debt, lots of growth brings lots of change

- For the newbies out there, depending on which team you are hired on (Operations. CX, legal, finance - are great. Low turnover) - Depending on the team, some managers are down to earth, gets work done, and really know what they are doing.

Cons

- For the newbies out there, depending on which team you are hired on (Marketing and EDDP - high turnover). - Seems like the company doesn't care about retention. They hire left and right and doesn't even try to convince people to stay. The new CEO, Ania, is really trying to clean house. - The culture has changed 100%. No longer a diverse company that it used to be. No longer a place that you would consider "neighborly". All the core values and what Leah and Stacy have built - down the drain.
