- Unclear strategy/lack of structure and a very "start up" organization style and mentality, despite the fact it is not one anymore. Some teams overlap and communication is not always the best.
- Management style. The company is very political/hierarchical and boot licking seems to be the only way to get a little recognition. Employees just toot their own horn and often end up showcasing their work in a forced, unnatural way, just to be be recognized and be in the directors' good books. This leads to a strange atmosphere and makes the company way more political than it should be, considering its size and the values it claims to embody.
Certain directors can be quite agressive and lack empathy, especially in London. It often leads to a toxic environment and favouritism, meaning that, if a director has decided they don't like you, your hard work will go unnoticed and you will receive demeaning remarks on a regular basis, sometimes in front of others. Micromagement can also be an issue.
- Very high turnover, and a tendency to say "Oh well, that's normal", when clearly something is going on. The company does not seem to care about retention for some reason.
- Product itself could be better, but lack of resources/engineers prevents major improvements
