It’s a business , not a family .

Pros

Team will provide ongoing education- they inform us of any changes and we are up to date on policies within the company . We have direct access to getting assistance when we need it should any issues arise. The benefits are spectacular! Salary is decent . I mean just decent. Transferring within the company for any position is welcome and very easy. I’ve seen several of my coworkers move to clinics closer to their homes and out of state and it just makes the company that much more appealing. Even assisting at other clinics is appreciated for any position. Some clinics do fun events as a team - some clinics- like mine do not. (I wish they would ) The company also does a lot with volunteering within the state of Michigan- I wish our clinic would make an effort to do this .

Cons

First off - I am employed at Team . I am not disgruntled in anyway but I am aware of changes that need made. Team likes to talk the talk. “Team =family - we look out for each other” But sadly I’ve witnessed firsthand - you can’t go to HR with issues because they look out for the company . Not “family”. HR works for TR- not for you.Simply put- You can’t speak your mind . It’s a business- bottom line. I bring in money for the company as a PT but others ( techs or PACs ) aren’t treated the same. These coworkers /friends aren’t given the same grace or the obvious courtesy as the PTs to retain them. I’ve seen Retaliation happen to my best friend at the company - Young managers on power trips given authority is found throughout the company . Team needs to do a better job caring about their employees and retaining their trained staff instead of strong arming them into submission to do things their way. Caring a little , discussing expectations and knowing your staff goes a long way. Understandably I stay quiet and do my job because of the benefits plain and simple . Bottom line - it’s a business.

Pros

Interesting and valuable learning experience for fire healthcare workers

Cons

Overworked, understaffed and underpaid. Had to work with a very crabby physical therapist who regularly got upset at myself and other female techs and clearly favored the male tech who had working for a longer time. She was very disorganized and often overbooked but she would get mad and even yell or walk up to us and snatch the patient excersize sheet from my hands mumbling that we were stupid and didn’t know what we were doing if we could not attend to all her patients at once even if there was only 1 tech for 4 therapists. The clinic director would see this and never addressed this problem.

Thank you for the review. At Team Rehab, we take any and all feedback very seriously. I am sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience. Unfortunately, staffing shortages are very common but that would not excuse this type of behavior. I do know that we are doing everything we can to bring in more support staff. As we have an open door policy, I would hope that you reached out to our HR department or directly to our leadership Team - Both Scott Delcomyn and/or Nick Weber would have wanted to be notified and involved in correcting the problem. We truly wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The company trains well , keeps informed at every turn of the job. They offer awesome benefit package, the time off is plenty. My coworkers and Clinic Director are all good people.

Cons

The pay is absolutely ridiculous. I thought I’d take the job - show what I could do and get a raise to reflect my talent. I got .50 ! That was a slap in the face . New reviews are coming up. We shall see.
