Pros

At TA, there are so many opportunities to grow and challenge yourself. Teams work together well, and you're expected to bring your A game. I loved my time working with this team. They are very intentional about finding ways to develop community, even in a remote environment. They go out of their way to find ways to do things better and to take feedback from all levels of the organization.

Cons

If you want to try and skate by and work 20 hours a week making a FT salary, this probably isn't the right fit.

Disgusting company - don't let them fool you!

Pros

They've perfected using corporate language to mask how awful and insidious their business practices are. Management is great at using performance metrics to overwork and underpay you.

Cons

- Awful leadership. The CEO implements his whims without thinking of the wellfare of the employees and is enabled by the cronies in upper management who don't have the courage to stand up to him. These changes are disruptive to day-to-day operations. Once you think you've gotten acquainted to the last big change, be sure to expect that they'll change a process or add a platform the following week. There is no long-term plans or logical direction to how the company is being run, just horrible executions of plans that are never successful. - They don't walk their talk. I've never seen any of the core values that TA speaks so highly about in motion. They're only good at reducing you to a number that produces revenue for them instead of treating you like an actual person. It's unbearable to see them virtue signal through workshops to promote a better company culture when you see how unjustly they treat their employees and hide behind passive-aggressive remarks. It's obvious they don't care about you, only how much dollar signs you make for them. Even with that, they won't compensate you fairly or even give you a decent raise. - Don't expect any level of transparency from TA. They'll say that the business is doing well but proceed to lay off so many employees under the guise of "performance management." You can be a top performer but you're never safe from whatever silly business tactic they come up with. - Stay far, far away from this company. You can see how desperately they want to hide the negative reviews they've been getting here but trust that every point of criticism is warranted and they should take accountability for how they've damaged their reputation through their own doing. If your company has been acquired by TA, spare yourself the anguish and leave. I don't wish my experience at TA to anyone else.

Not Sold As Seen

Pros

You will learn a lot about optimizing every minute of your day....but that won't be enough. They do a great job at celebrating quarterly town halls, celebrating weekly book clubs, but forget about positive sales culture and achievable goals.

Cons

- Unachievable quotas - Don't expect to earn anywhere near the commission they promise - You will be micromanaged, and the strategies will keep changing on you....prepare for whiplash. I hear they now use very granular activity tracking.....throw back to the 1990's workforce! - Be careful of your sales relationships. Once you have onboarded a customer, you are exposed to having them taken from you and passed to a 'cheaper' rep. - Job stability. Even top performers are on edge, constantly! - They are EXTREMELY cheap - good luck trying to travel to see customers, unless you take a grey hound across country, stay in a motel 6, and share the room with 4 other reps....this isn't as big of an exaggeration as your think. - There are a lot of comments about the CEO and CRO in the reviews. I don't think they are as mean as the comments....but they are incapable, and hurt people's lives/careers. I'm not sure which is worse.
