Pros

The industry itself is stable, and many of the mid-level colleagues are hardworking and dedicated. The actual product portfolio remains strong. Great group of people in basic levels and middle management.

Cons

Extreme Short-Term Focus: The C-Suite and Senior Leadership are obsessed with monthly numbers. This obsession drives short-sighted decisions, leading to constant scope creep, project challenges, and the premature cutting of investments (like training and technology upgrades) that would offer long-term stability and growth. Culture of Burnout and Fear: There is an overwhelming pressure to constantly deliver more with less. Work-life balance is non-existent, and employees who raise concerns about workload, staffing shortages, or process quality are often viewed as "non-performers" or "not team players." This creates a climate of fear where people are afraid to speak up, leading to critical issues being buried. Zero Investment in People: Employee development, succession planning, and competitive retention are afterthoughts. Raises are minimal, often below inflation, and the response to high turnover is typically to push more work onto the remaining staff. The leadership consistently fails to recognize that cost-cutting on talent eventually destroys institutional knowledge and production quality. Leadership Disconnect: There is a severe lack of understanding between the strategic decisions made in the boardroom and the reality on the market. Decisions are based on spreadsheets, not operational feasibility or employee impact.
