Pros

- The people who work at Tend are incredibly welcoming, friendly, hard working and smart - Recruiting process was honest and transparent. It consisted of an initial screening, interview with manager, and 3 other team member interviews - Good pay and benefits - Tend is changing things beyond only the product/service they're putting out in the marketplace, but internally with Dentists and staff and headquarter employees. Feels great to be a part of that!

Cons

I don't have any Cons.

Pros

Tend is pioneering the dental space, both from a hospitality and technology perspective. There's very little to "copy" so it makes for exciting work. Everyone has been open & welcoming to collaboration and feedback, which reduces stress. The outcome of the work is rewarding.

Cons

There could be more culture at the org. We do not have all-hands or town hall style events regularly that encourage celebrating wins and presenting work or asking pointed questions. There is a disconnect between the NY and Nashville offices, and remote employees who don't work at either. Compensation and benefits are less competitive than similar-stage high growth companies, though this may vary by department.

Pros

Tend will soon be the leading dental service organization in the country, and contributing to the growth is both exciting and invigorating. Ability to pivot and adjust is critical. Tons of opportunity for vertical growth. Good benefits. There is work to be done on the team culture but it is absolutely in progress and moving in the right direction.

Cons

With so much focus on growth and expansion, this thing is fast paced. While most of the time this is a source of excitement and collaboration, it might not be for everyone. Chain of command within studios and ops changes regularly.
