Gone down hill

Pros

Professional environment and good learning experience

Cons

The culture changed after Rich (CEO) left the company. Private equity also entered the chat, and things have been down hill ever since. Like any corporation, they will take everything they can from you until there is nothing left.

Pros

Higher salary than most entry level positions Profit sharing (up until this year)

Cons

This was easily one of the worst jobs I could’ve ever imagined. Teams that don’t meet, no morale, no budget for social activities, bosses that also don’t like their job thus cyclical reactive environment. It is textbook matrix environment. Everyone keeps their heads down, they don’t really engage with each other, nor do they care to be at work.

Pros

Amazing people -- TI hires the best out of non-elite universities, so the company has a very inclusive feel. Everything is about teamwork. Can't beat the work life balance.

Cons

Pay could be improved especially in the Bay Area if TI wants to retain employees who make the biggest impact.
