Pros

- Good technical leadership. - Good challenging work, with lot to learn especially at the beginning of your career. - Not worked long enough to comment on the growth, but seems good to me.

Cons

- Considering it is a big organization, it may not be easy to go up the ladder. Otherwise completely satisfied working here.

Pros

Resources are well organized. Great access to tools and ability to deliver small products in very high volume

Cons

Technically, products are not very leading edge - just quick to deliver at the expense of burning out its staff. Products can be designed by engineers with 1-2 years of experience; so, they use a log of young engineers who are very energetic (at least for a while).

Pros

I have heard that TI stood from tiny income, but I didn't find that to be the case. Admittedly with such a large company there are jobs that have no future and room for growth, but once you work at TI you can move to other jobs. Conversely there are jobs at TI that are rewarded substantially in base income, bonuses, and other benefits. If you are able to get into one of the high revenue group and are successful, compensation is very good.

Cons

Electrical design engineering is the central task at TI and if you aren't in design, analog circuit design in particular, it's more difficult to get recognized in the technical community.
