Pros

Gym and cafe on site, decent hours

Cons

Wow where to begin. This company is an absolute JOKE. They tend to feed BS into your minds about how quickly you can move up, etc but as time went by I noticed that the only people who got to a halfway respectable position in that company are the ones dumb enough to wait around 8-10 years. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this POS company. The imaging area is full of immature childish people so if you want a day care environment, Texas Mutual is your spot! I have not looked back since I left this joke of a company.

Pros

Good benefits, employee development, stability, good people, excellent work/life balance compared to most IT shops.

Cons

Vacation (only 2 weeks for first 5 years), because it's an insurance company, it's a lot more "buttoned up" and formal than IT companies, and benefits are the same as the insurance business side jobs, not typical of IT.

Pros

Company is committed to providing the best service possible to its policyholders. This is accomplished thru their knowledgeable long term employees and commitment to providing an enjoyable work environment. Employees are dedicated to providing great service to policyholder and most of all support their co workers. Significant strides have been made over the years in innovation and training.

Cons

Just like most of corporate America, middle management can improve their leadership skills. Leadership training is ongoing but not always implemented once completed. Typically too many hurdles to go thru for change which slows process improvements.
