Pros

Good pay, good benefits, and lots of vendor freebies.

Cons

It’s a 60 hour a week job, way more than full time. IMO, management is super negative, overly critical and micro manages.

Pros

I work with great people who are very kind. I love that the company supports a culture of volunteering. There's always turnover in claims so there is great job security if you're willing to stick around.

Cons

The claim load for adjusters is too high. There is not enough time in the day to provide great customer service. It's almost like claims management is purposely setting us up to fail. The morale is low right now and it's only getting worse. Texas Mutual is becoming an unfavorable place to work.
