Fun environment, Good food, Effective systems in place.

Cons

Managers had clear favorites, that got special treatment in many ways. Systems such as required food running are beautiful, as it forces everyone to pull their weight, but only when managers actually take action with the literal proof of work in their hands, this did not happen in my experience.

quality of life ( if you are at a high volume store) base salary can be hard to negotiate lots of new outside hires in upper management, takes away from culture/family like environment. can be intense at times, lots of pressure to perform

I loved working at Texas Roadhouse because you can get hired and start working at any other Roadhouse pretty quickly if you have experience in the restaurant. The way they teach you to serve is great if you actually do it right. You can build great friendships at work. If you want to become a bartender or learn to be a manager it is easy to move forward.

Cons

The wait staff can sometimes be lazy and gossip all the time but your tips do not depend on them too much.
