      Pros

      Textron Aviation is a well run organization focused on success. It thrives on the college graduates making use of all the latest innovative ideas being taught today. Textron's intern program is utilized in every area of the company.

      Cons

      Textron Aviation is very results oriented. Company health insurance is my least preferred option I've ever experienced. Textron has a policy of anyone who leaves or is laid off is not available for rehire. That makes a longterm career plans in aircraft manufacturing today much more risky.

      Pros

      The work was fulfilling made day go quick. Never the same thing day to day. Some tasks were challenging but after complete you felt happy you could get it done

      Cons

      When it came to a supervisor that recognized problems he buried his head in the sand. He was not qualified to handle the position. He was a puppet. When layoffs came who was later off the best worker in the department and they kept a lazy good for nothing work avoider. Reason they said was person later offwas low on totem pole last hired.

      Pros

      There are not a lot of Pros since the two companies, Beechcraft and Cessna, combined.

      Cons

      They are only hiring Interns. If you have been out of college a few years, you're not eligible. They are laying off their older employees before they reach retirement age and replacing them with Interns.
