      Pros

      Wide range of aircraft with Cessna and Beechcraft products. Flies all over the world year round, keeping things new and interesting

      Cons

      No aviation people in leadership roles, including CEO. Business decisions similar to models that have bankrupted previous companies

      Pros

      Great work/life balance. Every couple years there's a "crunch" time where 60 hour weeks are commong, but it usually only lasts for a couple months. Not too bad. Cessna does pay overtime if you're under a certain pay grade, so it can be an opportunity for extra income. Pay is good for the midwest. Company is friendly and relaxed at times, which makes for a fun environment.

      Cons

      Sometimes projects can get cancelled and there is a lot of report writing since we have to appeal to the FAA.

      Pros

      The 4-10 hr workdays were nice. The benefits, especially the parental leave (excused time to take a child to the doctor) were great.

      Cons

      The company is susceptible to the cyclical aviation market. Although i was not laid off, it is very troubling to see friends and coworkers you work with every day out of work.
