Pros

Opportunity to be involved with new product development, pick up new skills on the job - prompte self learning. Work with great people.

Cons

Performance-based incentive/reward subpar. You can overachieve and innovate, but reward is no better than someone who met the minimum. If lucky you can get nominated for a cash reward. No bonuses until you reach Specialist title with at least 14 years experience, which might come with a small pay bump - lose OT pay. In a crunch, expect to work a lot of extra hours with little incentive so it's not as rewarding.

Pros

Positive, continuously improving work culture. Ability to work on and lead several aspects of aircraft structures during new product development. Management always encourages new ideas that challenge status quo. Fair salary for low cost of living in Wichita area.

Cons

Salaries could be slightly higher. Company is somewhat hesitant to implementing new technologies, but this is also understandable because of inherent risk.
