Where do I start? This company was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I watched unqualified people get promotions twice within a year despite engaging in immoral, unethical, and egregious behavior that quite frankly warranted termination. I watched an unqualified, disrespectful get tossed around from program to program despite bullying multiple employees and getting caught watching NSFW content on company time. After several years of sacrificing for this company, I made the easiest decision to leave and never look back. I sincerely hope that someone sees this review and thinks twice before accepting an offer at this company. There are several companies that will actually value employees instead of treating them like the scum of the earth, which is what Textron does. Do not be fooled by the smiling faces of your supervisor. If you are promised a promotion, don't believe it until it happens. I made the mistake of listening to my supervisor when they said that a promotion was coming only to not get one when the time came. Another point of consternation is the pay/benefits. Textron pays below industry standard, and the benefits do not compensate for the below-average pay. HR is useless and has no clue about the benefits they're supposed to know inside and out. It's a shame such unqualified, clueless, and quite frankly, idiotic people are in positions of leadership.

Management does not support its employees; they do not care about professional development, and create a toxic environment. Forget work-life balance - you are expected to get the job done at whatever personal cost. Does not ensure career growth - promise promotions but do not follow through. Lack of communication - this is seen at all levels within the corporation. Does not offer competitive pay When in doubt, the company re-orgs; they do not solve any issues, just shuffle people around (I saw 6 re-orgs in one year and it got to the point where employees were confused as to who they reported to). MAJOR attrition, and has had several massive layoffs in the last 3 years.
