The Carpet Guys is a place like no other I have worked. Our owner genuinely cares about his people, as well as the company as a whole. I have been here since 2018, and have been able to move up in positions with ease as they become available. I have been in flooring since 2005, so this is a career choice for me. I love the fact that we are "allowed" to grow here, and encouraged to do so. I would encourage people to come here, especially if they have flooring background, but if not, a teachable person can excel just as easily as I have if they will take the time to listen and learn. We got a new CEO in the past year, and that has only helped us become more of a team than we already were. We are only growing more and more, and I would highly encourage people to check us out.
Cons
Sometimes I have felt that we hold on to the wrong people too long, or we bring people back that should not necessarily be coming back, which can be discouraging for those of us that give it our all day in and day out. Like any "family" we have our moments, but they only typically make us better and stronger for it.
