Pros
The team is great and you will meet the best people from all across the world and make connections. The managers are great people just extremely overwhelmed and overworked. Their healthcare is one of the best in the island and if you work on the kitchen you get free meals. It is an awesome place to be I just wish the company would compensate its workers more. These are the reasons I have decided to stay and just get a second job instead of finding a new job all together because I really do love Cheesecake Factory, I love everyone I work with and I can understand that management is overwhelmed. The people and culture here is hard to come by and I am willing to stay longer for them.
Cons
Its the lowest paying restaurant in Waikiki for a big corporate. The pay used to start at $15 but they have increased it to $22 an hour because no one would apply and when they do they tend to leave after a few weeks due to tremendous demand the company requires of you. Every position in cheesecake is short staffed so you will be asked to work 2 to 3 positions on your own. The new hires are making more than the chef's that have been with cheesecake for 8 years and is causing a lot of tension because they had just raised the start pay a few months ago.
