Decent, but could be better

Pros

- You can make a decent amount of money working here ($150-$200 per night) - Food is delicious and you get a 50% discount as an employee - Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas

Cons

- You have to work at a food runner at least once a week and you make almost no money doing this. - The amount of side work is ridiculous. - The money you make depends largely on what section you're placed in, which isn't great.

Pros

always on the go, good money opportunity, lots of coworkers, position growth but it may take time

Cons

certain positions deserve more pay, can be stressful when really busy, sometimes coworkers can slack off and you take on the work, management can have favorites

Money isn't everything

Pros

The money you can make is great, especially in the summer and the holiday season. It was easily one of the best serving jobs I had, and my co-workers were fantastic.

Cons

The summer conventions, and the clientele they bring is always a hit-and-miss. Yes, you may make money, but interfacing with 100s of disgruntled and rude customers takes its toll. Then there is the blatant disregard for our physical health. I watched a co-worker who had received a concussion the day before work back to back doubles because she had to. I have served customers while seriously ill with very visible and contagious symptoms. This isn't unusual in the service industry but as a direct result, COVID spread through my former-coworkers in the early months of the pandemic, unhindered, and management did nothing to stop the spread. Speaking of COVID, each server has the choice to donate a portion of their paycheck to a fund for employees in need. When the pandemic hit and restaurants closed, the Cheesecake Factory refused to allocate any of those funds to people in crisis and announced that they were not going to pay rent for any of their locations. Where did this money go?
