      Not Too Bad Thus Far

      Pros

      -Awesome Store Manager -Generally 20-30 hours per week (And I'm part time.) -Customers are, for the most part exceptionally understanding (Perhaps because they are used to dealing with small children). -Other associates are friendly. -Relatively easy job. -Responsibilities are not at all difficult to learn. (Although exchanges can be a bit frustrating.) -Tasks are varied, so the job is not that monotonous.

      Cons

      -Assistant Store Manager is on a power trip. -Paid minimum wage starting out (this especially stings because I just graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. Oh well. I'm still optimistic that I'll progress.) -Major LP problem. -Understaffed -Training is minimal and vague.

      Pros

      Employee discount if you shop there often, store managers and fellow employees very helpful, time passes quickly because always have a customer to ring up or clothes the fold

      Cons

      Feel like you're badgering customers because have to ask for so much information when they're just buying $1.99 sunglasses, returns require more than necessary work and lots of personal info about the customer, not enough hours for part time associates, amount of merchandise can be overwhelming, can never finish everything that needs to be done
