      Pros

      Employee benefits and positive financial reputation within the insurance industry.

      Cons

      Antiquated technology /leaders & management often lack forward thoughts and ideas needed in the 21st century. Nepotism within is almost ludicrous.

      Pros

      This company knows who it is and lives by its values. Being still fairly new I have yet to meet anyone who does not behave professionally, courteously, and just overall with kindness. This is the ONLY company in my ten years in the workforce that actually lives by its values and makes decisions with those values at the forefront. And those values are used with customers as well as internally.

      Cons

      Diversity is always an issue. More women and people of color are needed overall but especially as part of leadership. There’s a bit of a white man overload in leadership. Not to diminish capabilities at all but the worst thing about the company is the impression of a bunch of conservative, stuffy, white male baby boomers. That is not truly the case but that impression exists and almost held me off from being truly interested in my job here. Until I came for the interview and saw what they were doing in my department and changed my mind. Benefits aren’t terrible but the high deductible plan really really stinks. It means I don’t go to the doctor as much as I should and prescriptions and specialists are really expensive.
