Pros

Good pay, nice benefits, bonuses were good when you got them.

Cons

Majority of the reviews you see on here are fake, just like the ones on their properties’ google pages. The employees get paid for the reviews that they get, fake or not. If you really think that a company gets this many good reviews this often, you are wrong. I carefully read through reviews before I accepted my position only to realize how it was done once I started working for TCG. Long hours Toxic work environment as PCMs threaten to fire you if you don’t perform Goals being changed throughout the month because someone else couldn’t pull their weight If you have morals and values and care for people (the residents)- do not work here. You will regret it. They will teach you scare tactics to force residents to sign renewals 5 months before their lease is up. I spent more of my time there coming up with schemes with the rest of the office to figure out each and every resident to scare them into signing a lease for another year. I have done things I am not proud of working for this company. My only regret is that I gave them a chance but I am happy I no longer work here.

Pros

They’ll teach you how to be a comissioned salesperson

Cons

Low pay, unrealistic commission goals, long days, working weekends, glorified secretary that has to force apartments on people whether they can afford it or not. If you have a conscious, you’ll struggle to get sleep at night. No opportunity for overtime but you’ll still be expected to put extra time in and work from home after your 9 hour work day.

The Connor Group Response

I am sorry to hear our sales position was not for you. Our sales associates make on average an additional $9,000 annual bonus for hitting their goals. Some obviously make more and some less depending on their sales ability. This combined with our competitive base pay gives our sales associates significantly more income than similar positions. You are absolutely correct that we try to stay away from overtime. Please call me to discuss any hours you feel you were not paid as we absolutely pay our associates for all time worked including overtime when it does happen. 937-434-3095 – Ask for Chris. I wish you nothing but success in the future.
