Pros

none, I would not recommend this job to anyone

Cons

EVERYING... you're pretty much trying to rent poorly maintained and overpriced apartments and take advantage of the (prospective) renter - work/life balance, there is none because you are obligated to work 3/4 weekends of the month, I would get yelled at if I left at 6 and didn't stay even though my hours were supposed to be 9-6 - pay, I was underpaid and my raise was literally $2 more an hour, they offer monthly bonus if you hit your sales goal but be careful as managers will take your leads and not give you credit, they will also buy you lunch occasionally or give you a $10 starbucks card instead of actually paying you a decent wage. Oh did I mention my manager would change my timecard so I wouldn't hit overtime so I lost countless hours and pay from this - managers, they legitimately train you to be a pushy car salesman who won't take no for an answer and makes you harass people to try to get them into signing a lease, you're either getting cussed out by a prospective renter or your manager run from this company, if you want to see the reviews just go to any apartment complex that is managed by the connor group and read the reviews, pay attention to the negative ones as those are the accurate ones. Any positive ones were ones that the sales associates and management had to beg people to leave, often before they have a bad experience. It's all about appearances as they basically buy apartments complexes, "flip them" (POORLY), and then sell for a profit, so the residents are neglected as they are not the focus of the connor group. Not surprised this company is involved in multiple lawsuits, look it up

We appreciate the feedback, but there are claims made in this review that are false and do not reflect the reality of how we operate as a company. At The Connor Group, we take pride in our high standards, ethical business practices, and commitment to both our associates and residents. We do not train our teams to be pushy or harass prospective renters. Our focus is on providing elite customer experience. Our managers are expected to lead with professionalism and integrity, and we do not tolerate unprofessional behavior. Additionally, our business model is centered on long-term operational excellence, not quick flips, and we invest heavily in our associates, properties, and residents. While no company is perfect, we stand behind our track record and encourage anyone interested in learning more to speak with our associates or visit our communities firsthand.

Pros

Honestly *some* of the coworkers are great, but if you end up on one person’s bad side, suddenly the entire market and company will know about it.

Cons

Pay, you are expected to lay your life down at the feet of the company, management will call you, text you, email you, or by any means contact you even on your days “off” due to lack of poor planning and understaffing issues. There were multiple times I was called in to work 6-7 days a week spanning at least 10 hours a day with no break. Oh, and then would get yelled at due to the overtime but was threatened by managers that I couldn’t leave at my time off.

It's unfortunate to hear this was your experience. Our goal is to create a performance-driven culture where hard work is recognized and rewarded, but also one where teamwork and accountability drive success. We set high expectations, but we also expect our leaders to support their teams in meeting them. If you have specific concerns, we encourage you to reach out so we can address them directly.
