In Jan 2024, the company went through yet another "restructuring", weeding out the "low hanging fruit" (although many of those fruits were excellent long term employees with a decade+ of knowledge), and then promised that there were no more layoffs to come and we could now move "onward and upward" to prosperity. The company has since taken to laying off small groups at a time, but yesterday, Oct 1, 2024, we underwent another round of massive layoffs, and the entire Trial Master File U.S. dept was eliminated. I've heard that all new hires are now to come from India. With two in the C-Suite being India natives it makes one wonder...
These layoffs took place unannounced, 1 day after the annual Culture Survey deadline; I'm sure this was no coincidence.
The current administration is taking what once was a lovely, family owned company that cared about its employees and is turning it into a corporate nightmare, only concerned with the bottom line, barely getting by regulatory-wise (also the head of Regulatory was sacked yesterday).
