Volume VOLUME VOLUME!

Pros

set your own workday, great pay, benefits are good

Cons

The promise of work life balance is not even tried to be kept. I personally admit I am a workaholic and live in the "stress zone" of more moRE MORE! BUT ... if you are not, you will sink. Little training, no assistance and you will be given 30%- 50% more than the set expectations are for volume. 1.67 a day = 3-4 a day EVERY day.

One of my worst career moves

Pros

Decent salary and benefits, although the benefit costs are not the cheapest.

Cons

Poor management culture that will attempt to motivate employees by holding them accountable to shifting standards. You will work hard here, and your reward will be more pressure. Many talented folks came and went in the short time I was there, and it's clear their treatment of employees causes good talent to leave. Everyone in the management group seems to look after their own ambitions rather than those of their employees. Don't waste your time trying to pour yourself into a career at this place, it's not worth all the headaches and heartaches.

Pros

Benefits of HR writing false reviews and overly positive ratings: -Glassdoor score goes up! -Drowns out real criticism from genuine employees (who aren't paid to puff up Hanover's reputation)

Cons

There are cons to false reviews: - Hire only employees too dumb to tell the difference between genuine reviews and propaganda -Makes Hanover look clumsy and petty -Hire people with expectations of "innovation" and "career growth" only to let them down with reality. This may be part of the reason employee turnover has increased since the Q2 layoffs last year.
