If you are an executive at any level then do not join this company. The amount of layoffs and poor decisions being made at the leadership level are indicative of the state of things. You may be promised all sorts of things in order to join but do no believe what they tell you. Demand everything in writing. More importantly, ask to interview with the Chief Strategy Officer for an instant understanding of why you should stay far, far away. It is shocking that this level of incompetence and meanness is allowed to continue at such a high level. Leadership pretends to not know about the issues but everyone in the industry talks.
For a different perspective, look at who owns the company and controls the board and that will explain a lot as well.
