TNC offers great benefits, has an outstanding mission and solid organizational values. They take pride in their ethical standards and are committed to "living their values."

Cons

Like many environmental NGOs, TNC is working on becoming a more diverse and inclusive organization, but it is early on this journey.

Management is Ever Changing

Growth and promotions depend on your supervisor and whether or not you are liked.

Cons

Management is ever changing and team leaders lack expertise and backbone to communicate to the reality of expectations, thus producing stress and decreased morale to staff.

Pros

The mission and the people (outside of senior leadership).

Cons

No work-life balance, uneven distribution of flexible work schedule benefits inside and across departments, management does not care about employees and treats employees like we are replaceable. Bad employees are not managed. Good employees are not rewarded.
