Pros

Willing to teach, co-workers like family. Exposure to many businesses and technologies. Down to earth owner and VPs. This employer can nurture you from entry level and help you learn the skills to advance. You must be a willing learner and step outside your comfort zone to do well.

Cons

Smaller company (some would not consider this a "Con") Limited potential for growth in some departments

Pros

Small company, relatively low stress and able to easily work around personal life and emergencies. Great company to get a couple years experience to pad your resume.

Cons

Meager benefits, salary is way below regional norms, very political and "clickish", way too many managers for the size of the company, feedback is not considered from the workers as they make suggestions or requests in order to meet goals. Jr to Sr developers will be hurt professionally by the antiquated technologies used, unless moving into a first time architect or manager position.

location of the office wasn't good for me personally would be fine for others esp if live in the mid cities area of dfw
