Pros

Lots of potential for upward mobility. No limits on commission! You earn what you sell! Great displays make selling easier. iPods make checking inventory easy. Manager, Krista is fair, reasonable, helpful and knowledgeable (even if she is missing a filter ;) )

Cons

TTS does NO advertising locally! Truck day can be challenging. Our warehouse could be better organized and inventory could be better managed.

Pros

The great thing about the Tile Shop is the opportunity to make as much money as you can. There is no cap. They provide great training to get you going and will continually work to maximize your potential. I came from zero sales experience and have been working at my store for a year and a half and thoroughly enjoy my job. The work environment is great and the people are awesome. You get to help people build/customize their homes and have fun while doing it. There are always opportunities to move up in the company as well with new locations being opened up and current ones getting bigger and better.

Cons

The only con I can think of at the moment is that since we have so much to offer as far as product, inventory can be a pain in the butt.

Pros

The Tile Shop is a great place to work, they allow for uncapped commission, you can help as many customers as you want, and there are family-like coworkers (including management). One thing I love about The Tile Shop is that you can basically build a business for yourself within The Tile Shop. You can have all your customers and contractors come to you and work with only you, and you make the money of those sales. That's not to say it's so easy, any job worth doing takes effort and persistence. In this business, at this job, persistence is key. I notice a lot of people make bad reviews about The Tile Shop, but I have to say my experience has been great! I would definitely recommend to someone who is unemployed to try working here.
