There are many more downsides than upsides. TheKey has gone through several re-organizations and layoffs in the last 18 months. They tend to make decisions seemingly on a whim and roll things out yesterday without training, without taking into account the dozen other initiatives expected to be achieved. Micromanagement from the top down. Poor culture. You don’t have job security due to the rapid changes. They seem to overhire then cut various departments. HR is outsourced overseas. They even put in the wrong policy information for my benefits through COBRA and I’m still dealing with that mess. Exec team will tell you what you what want to hear and fire you the next day.

“Disorganized Mess” does not even begin to describe it. Management has no respect for their team. Absolutely no work life balance. Never in my professional career has my character been so wrongly insulted like it was at TheKey. I will NEVER forget it and the dehuminizing way I was made to feel on my last day there. The way they treat you is truly shocking and I really wish I would have trusted the reviews before joining this company. I have never written a review, but feel it is necessary to shed some light on what goes on here. They cannot staff cases, but that will be your fault and they will use it as an excuse to fire you and call you a “poor performer.” However, this is a nationwide issue with any home care company. Their reputation has been so badly tarnished that they don’t even give you a chance to rebuild it before discarding you like garbage. BIG MISTAKE. The turnover is alarming and others in the industry see it and therefore do not want to work with them. TheKey has no idea what they are doing and because of that there is constant change. Like another reviewer stated, they want every market to be the same and that is just not how it is. Not to mention they will lie about your numbers and make them unattainable for your individual market and use that as another excuse to call you a “poor performer” (but that will be your fault too). This is just their way of covering up the fact that they have no idea what they are doing. Not a reflection on you. I have ALWAYS been a top performer in my sales career and to be called otherwise because of their mess is insulting. The work life balance is non existent and there is no motivation from management whatsoever other than being fired. It does not matter how hard you work or what you accomplish. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this crumbling company.
