Pros

NONE - Don't waste your time.

Cons

No real management because they have fired every single person that was of any value. They have NO REAL HR they have a fake hr person that really doesn't know how to do anything but the dirty work of the ceo so you really don't have anyone to go to with concerns. The ceo will run this sinking ship into deep waters and drowned everyone left on it FAST. He is a horrid excuse of a boss. The ceo screams at every single person because apparently that is his only form of communication. The founder is just a puppet and will start crying on command in hopes everyone doesn't see how terrible they really are and how awful they speak about staff. Sadly the founder joined hands with someone who is ruining his name into mud and the ceo will walk away and leave him without a company. DO BETTER.

Pros

Modern culture (inclusive of LGBTQ/Women's Rights and care for other modern matters), majority of corporate staff is remote, global company, great staff personalities, decent benefits (not the best). It's nearly in startup phase so there's a lot of growth opportunity if you have the time or enjoy being a work horse.

Cons

CEO. He makes final call for nearly everything and while his past strategy has worked, he does not come from a background that has run a company at its current size & state. Upper Management is scrambling. If you're looking for stability, you WILL NOT get it from Therabody. This company has gone thru 4+ rounds of layoffs within a year and company uses the excuse of "reorganization". I've watched hardworking coworkers leave stable companies to join Therabody only to get laid off within a year. MORAL OF THE STORY: They only hire you because they needed you at that moment, but don't really care if they have to drop you in the next few months because it suits them. You never know if you're going to "Survive" the next round of layoffs.

Therabody appreciates you taking the time to offer such specific feedback about your experience, and we are glad to hear that you enjoy our modern culture, Employee Resource Groups, and hybrid work environment. As we continue our journey of growth, it is important that we make the very best business decisions to ensure Therabody’s continued success. As a business, our leadership team has to sometimes make very difficult decisions, and while we do our very best to not have to make any changes to staffing, certain functions were not making the impact as initially anticipated, and difficult changes became necessary. The leadership team has also partnered with the People Team to evaluate the long term need of all vacant positions, to help avoid the restructuring or elimination of any newly hired employees. Thank you again for being so forthcoming with this feedback, and please do not hesitate to reach out to the People Team, if you would like to share any additional feedback.

Pros

Free theragun, cool ambassadors, good pay, okay benefits.

Cons

No work/life balance, cult-like company culture, toxic management, 10+ hrs of unpaid overtime a week, “unlimited pto” that you’re discouraged from ever taking, benefits are only good if you’re in CA, poor training, poor processes, very stressful. If you value your physical and mental health DO NOT WORK HERE. Don’t be fooled by the salary they offer you, it’s not worth it. I loved the products years before I ever worked here, and still think they are great, but this was by far the worst professional experience of my life and I’ve been in my field for 15+ years.
