Pros

T2k provides great benefits through its 401k matching, wellness programs, and tuition reimbursement. As a therapist, you will gain much needed training through the many workshops held at the corporate office. The education team is great about bringing in guest speaker from outside the company to touch on a number of specialties and skills needed to better your career and abilities. They provide great review for those fresh out of school since pediatrics is not always a heavily emphasized for some, though they prefer that you have experience. T2k used to have a great family feeling before it started expanding to different cities. While it's still there, it's not as great as it used to. The special events committee holds events such as Family Day and a huge Christmas party at the end of the year to celebrate the end of a year.

Cons

T2k works hard to prepare it's therapist to provide some of the best therapy services in the DFW, however, they don't do as well on managing their employees. Managers in each division are therapist themselves (a requirement), so in theory, they would know and should do great at managing other therapist. The problem is that managing therapist is only one component of managing the division. They lack the business background to make the business efficient. As a result they are stressed and can trickle down on the therapist and the rest of the supporting staff. The supporting staff (office personnel) seem over worked given the high number of referrals received vs. number of actual intake personnel.

Pros

This company cares deeply about people. They have incredible benefits and training programs. I love the monthly in-house training events by top therapists/professors, the flex work schedule, adn benefits from the very first day. They have a rich family-friendly environment. Top priority: helping children.

Cons

Company is growing on a daily basis. As a result, things are often changing, but often for the better. We are all constantly growing to get better. Sometimes, you have to stop, take a deep breath, and look back over the past to see how much we've grown and improved.

Pros

Good benefits, offer free CEU courses and reimbursement for CEUs and licensure. Provide laptop to use, cell phone and gym reimbursement with proof of attendance

Cons

More emphasis on getting your visits in including requiring you to use PTO if going on vacation on a typical work day even if you got all of your visits in that week. Managers dont discuss any issues or give reason for termination. Equipment provided is refurbished and doesn't work well. Agree to things such as not requiring you to work after school hours to get you to start with then then dwell on that and complain about it every chance they have. Paperwork is not online and you have to submit it to office weekly to monthly. Will offer you salary while they build your caseload then expect you to be "on call" and come in to do office work such as stuffing packets or chart audits and will be very rude towards you if you are not available in a days notice. Lack of communication between HR, manager, and employee with all telling you something different. They speak as if they are very supportive and look for quality therapists but really they want a warm body they can walk all over
