Pros

Initially sold idea of family, work/life balance and wellness. Initially presented as dedicated towards helping children rehabilitate and about doing what is right

Cons

Doing what is right is a total farce to lure you in, the company is poorly run with greed at its core, unethical/unprofessional management who lack knowledge, corporate marketing calls severely disable children, "juicy diagnoses" to make money off someone's misfortune, they do not follow correct policies and the pay is low. Therapists are treated like workhorses, only focusing on the numbers for productivity, therapists are mocked behind the scenes and laughed at, negative and stressful environment, save yourself the trouble...

Pros

Flexible schedule, good benefits which are available to part-time employees, use of laptop for each employee, nice variety of patients, generous bonus at Christmas.

Cons

It seems that experience is not really valued...they would rather hire new grads who can make scores of visits and they can pay them beginning salaries. A few years ago they actually lowered the pay of the older therapists with more experience, when they gave everyone else a raise! The therapists have to pay for ALL of their materials and supplies, which gets to be very expensive considering the wide range of ages and disabilities of the patients. They claim to be a "family." That may have been true a few years ago, but now that they've grown so big and have decentralized into various area offices, they've lost that family feel. Area supervisors are on the young side and seem to have a group of therapists who are in their inner circle.
