Pros

Working with teenagers and being able to see them grow and process their trauma is a major benefit. It's rewarding to be able to build rapport with them and support them as they learn to disengage from problematic behaviors and find what justice means to them. I also love the team dynamic!

Cons

The hours can be challenging, but also worth it when you are able to see hard work pay off.

You work with an amazing team. Always exploring and finding creative and effective ways to treat the clients. Clients have survived traumatic events and are resilient- they need dedicated staff that are willing to work hard and not give up.

Cons

Can be taxing dealing with crisis and affect dysregulation regularly.
