Pros

I’ve met a lot of amazing people while working this job. It was exciting to be apart of an opening team (Milk and Honey at the Wharf) working hard and growing together as a unit. Many of whom I consider actual friends not just co workers.

Cons

Some downsides are waiting a whole year before being able to take paid time off. The lack of quality insurance packages. Failure to prepare or communicate for the slow winter months. The removal of the tip pool was the absolute worst decision, it kept the front and back of house working together…now the front doesn’t seem to care as much anymore.
